One Igwe Ambrose, a 65-year-old landlord, has been sentenced to double life imprisonment for sexual assault by the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court in Lagos State. Worried by the wastages associated with unattended projects across the country, the Federal Government, yesterday, revoked major road projects in the country, particularly those abandoned for years due to one reason or the other. Minister of Works, Mr Mike Onolememen, who disclosed this in Abuja, when he received a delegation of Ogoni Council of Traditional Rulers from Rivers State, who visited him in his office, said the Federal Government would revoke major road projects, including the South-East Road, which had been abandoned for 10 years.
